What is different about these conferences?

• LUHS is implementing Flight Plan Conferences in place of the traditional Parent/Teacher Conferences during Trimester 2.

What is a Flight Plan?

• A flight plan outlines each student’s goals and the steps they’ll take to reach them - academically, personally, and beyond high school.

What if I need to talk to my student’s teachers about their grades, class performance, etc.

• If families have specific questions or concerns they can reach out to their student’s teachers at any time.

How do I know when to come to a conference?

• Please click on this link and select your student's TB20 leader.  This will take you to the teacher's Google appointment scheduler and you can select an available date/time slot.  Conferences can occur in person, over the phone, or virtually on a Google Meet.  Please identify your preference when you select your conference time. If you have trouble scheduling a conference through this format, please call the high school office to schedule a date/time at 715.356.5252 X1000

Our ambitious goal for the first year of Flight Plan Conferences is to meet with at least 70% of students and families. Of course we want to meet with all of you, but 70% attendance will be a significant increase in participation from previous conferences.  

We are excited about the opportunities for increased family engagement, relevance for education, and individual goal setting at Lakeland!
