With humility and excitement, Dr. Jamie Koepp begins his first year as District Administrator for the Lakeland Union High School District. In this leadership role, Dr. Koepp is committed to building strong relationships with all stakeholders—students, staff, families, community members, and business leaders. As a servant leader, he is dedicated to supporting and guiding the district in its pursuit of student achievement.

A Milwaukee native, Dr. Koepp brings a diverse and well-rounded background in education. He has served as both a middle and high school teacher and worked as a school counselor in Milwaukee Public Schools. For the past 20 years, he was part of the Watertown High School community, serving 11 years as a school counselor and nine years as an administrator.

Now entering his 28th year in education, Dr. Koepp is a lifelong learner who places great value on building meaningful relationships. His background as a counselor has shaped him into an active listener and thoughtful, student-centered leader.

Dr. Koepp believes the size of the Lakeland Union High School District is ideal for delivering a comprehensive and personalized educational experience. He looks forward to collaborating with the existing leadership team and working closely with the district’s exceptional certified and support staff to meet the needs of all students.

As the primary professional advisor to the Board of Education, Dr. Koepp will lead the development and implementation of the district’s strategic plan, always keeping the best interests of students at the center of every decision.

Having already relocated to the area, Dr. Koepp is proud to now call the Northwoods home. He is the proud father of two adult children, Andre and Jenna, and enjoys reading, being active and watching sports in his free time.
