For 2025-2026 School Year

State law requires open enrollment students to apply for open enrollment when wishing to attend another school district. If an eighth grade student is attending an elementary school through open enrollment and does not live in the Lakeland Union High School District and wishes to attend Lakeland Union High School during the 2025-2026 school year, the student must apply for open enrollment with Lakeland Union High School District.

The recommended method of applying for open enrollment for the 2025-2026 school year is through the on-line application process HERE. The on-line application will open on February 3, 2025 and close at 4:00 p.m. on April 30, 2025.

Alternative Application Procedures for 2024-2025 School Year

An alternative application procedure allows pupils to apply for open enrollment at any time during a school year if certain criteria are met.
