The Voyager program gave the LUHS Community an awesome experience:
1. Taste locally harvested maple syrup
2. Learn about how and why maple trees produce sweet sap, and
3. Hear first-hand from their classmates about the process they used to collect sap and turn it into syrup.
The sampling and presentations were available during both lunch periods. Special thanks to the Baking and Pastry class which has generously prepared pancakes to go with the syrup.

April 30, 2025 is National Apprenticeship Day. Our school works with CESA 9 YA Consortium to provide opportunities for students to learn on the job, earn credits for working, and use school time to go to work! We currently have 15 students enrolled in Youth Apprenticeships, getting a jumpstart on their careers! If you would like to explore this great opportunity, please see Mrs. Hartzheim.

Hello LUHS community.
The Senior Class of 2025 has officially met our goal of collecting 1,000 pounds of soft plastic! Thank you to students, parents, and community members who helped our cause; this was truly a team effort.
We are excited to announce that, because we have reached our goal, the senior class is able to exchange our plastic with a NexTrex bench for Lakeland Union High School for future students and locals to use when on campus.
As we move forward, the senior class challenges our community to continue to be mindful of our plastic use.
Though LUHS is no longer accepting plastic, we encourage everyone to bring their used, soft plastics to local businesses that will recycle them. Thank you again for bettering our environment and helping the Senior Class of 2025 make their mark
