For 2021-2022 School Year
State law requires open enrollment students to apply for open enrollment when wishing to attend another school district. If an eighth grade student is attending an elementary school through open enrollment and does not live in the Lakeland Union High School District and wishes to attend Lakeland Union High School during the 2021-2022 school year, the student must apply for open enrollment with Lakeland Union High School District.
The recommended method of applying for open enrollment for 2021-2022 is through the on-line application process at https://dpi.wi.gov/open-enrollment. The on-line application will open on February 1, 2021 and close at 4:00 p.m. on April 30, 2021.
An alternative application procedure allows pupils to apply for open enrollment at any time during a school year if certain criteria are met.
