TEACHING AND ADMINISTRATIVE POSITIONS
Individuals who wish to apply for teaching or administrative vacancies in the Lakeland Union High School District must submit their application materials through the Wisconsin Education Career Access Network (WECAN). Applicants must attach the following documents to their WECAN application: 1) a letter of interest, 2) an up-to-date resume 3) three letters of recommendation, 4) a complete set of transcripts showing all undergraduate and post-graduate coursework, and 5) a copy of the applicant's Wisconsin teaching/administrative license.

SUPPORT POSITIONS

The following SUPPORT positions are currently available:
 

Network Specialist, Full-time, 12 month. Position available until filled. Competitive salary and excellent benefits. The position involves involves providing technical support, trouble-shooting on all district computer network equipment, the set–up and maintenance of the district’s audio/visual equipment, including interactive boards, projectors and sound systems.

Experience and Qualifications: Preferred candidates will need to possess a broad range of experience in working and providing support in a tri-platform environment (Windows/Apple/ChromeOS), and related components, including but not limited to:  VMware ESXi, Windows Server Management (2012 and 2016), SCCM and MDT(imaging), Apple DeployStudio, Firewall management, Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Cisco Switch management, Cisco/WLAN management, Apple iPads, Chromebooks and GSuite for Education.

Requirements: Associate’s Degree and 3 years job experience in a networking-related field; experience in an educational setting preferred but not necessary.  Excellent verbal and written communication and the ability to work with a broad range of students and staff.

Geographical Information
 
The Lakeland Union High School District is located in Minocqua, nestled in the beautiful Northwoods of Wisconsin. The Lakeland area is noted for recreational pursuits including lakes, forests, and a range of seasonal sports, and is also known for its tourism and health facilities. The Lakeland Union High School District is one of ten union high schools in the State of Wisconsin, providing a comprehensive high school education to students in grades 9-12.
 
It is also the largest geographical school district in the State of Wisconsin, encompassing over 800 square miles. The district is supported by four independent elementary districts and includes parts of Vilas and Oneida counties and the reservation of the Lac du Flambeau Band of Lake Superior Chippewa Indians. The district is home to approximately 700 students and employs nearly 80 professional staff and 40 support staff. The district is governed by a nine-person Board of Education, which is committed to the principles of shared decision making and site-based management. LUHS has a long tradition of Board of Education, teachers and staff, parents, administration, students and community members working together to provide a quality education for all.
