Physical Education Course Sequence

The 3 classes below are the REQUIRED Physical Education class the need to be completed with a passing grade to fulfill graduation requirements.  Each student is required by Wisconsin state law to complete 1.5 credits of Physical Education. These 3 classes will fulfill that requirement.

 

Foundations of Fitness→Lifetime Fitness 1→Lifetime Fitness 2

 

Foundations of Fitness is the FIRST PE class that should be taken.  This class can be taken as a freshman or a sophomore.

Lifetime Fitness 1 should only be taken after Foundations of Fitness has been completed with a passing grade. This class should  be taken as a freshman or a sophomore.

Lifetime Fitness 2 should be taken only after Foundations of Fitness and Lifetime Fitness 1 have been completed with a passing grade.

 

LUHS Physical Education does offer two elective classes as well.  
Strength and Conditioning and Lifetime of Leisure.  

 

Strength and Conditioning can be taken only by Juniors and Seniors and can only be taken up to two times.

Lifetime of Leisure can only be take 1 time by seniors who have complete the 3 required PE classes with a passing grade.
