What you will learn in this course:
This course provides an in-depth study of the plant kingdom.  Additional topics include plant classification, plant growth regulation and responses to the environment, and genetic breeding of plants.
 
How you will learn in this course:
Investigative labs relating to the class topics, lecture, discussion and demonstrations will be used to present information.  A plant growth investigation project provides supplemental experience in the scientific inquiry process.
 
Why this course is important:
This course is designed for the student intending to continue their education beyond high school or have a strong interest in science or pursuing employment in a science-related field.
