PREREQUISITES: Biology, Chemistry and “B” overall average high school science classes or consent of instructor.


What you will learn in this course : 
A study of the structure and function of the human body.  Emphasis will be placed on physiology.  The course is geared towards students interested in pursuing a career in a health related field.  Labs include dissections, which are a required  component of the course.
 
How you will learn in this course : 
Anatomy/Physiology is taught through text, lecture, discussion, labs and demonstrations.
 
Why this course is important :  
Knowledge of the human body and how it works is not only important for those going into a health related field, it is also important for everyone to understand the basic structure and function of their body.
