What you will learn in this course:  
Physical science is designed to serve as a solid foundation for students planning to take advanced science courses later in high school. The theme of the course first semester is the development and understanding of the atomic model of matter through extensive laboratory experimentation. The second semester builds on this including earth and space science topics, as well as, electricity and magnetism. A student should have a solid math background, as basic algebra is used in problem solving.

How you will learn in this course:
Inquiry and problem solving techniques are used in class discussions and experiments. Lectures and demonstrations are used to supplement learning activities.

Physical Science is intended to prepare students for the world of work and further studies beyond high school.
