As Lakeland Union High School's virtual learning coordinator, I work with any student interested in taking an online course to supplement their high school experience.  Many colleges today are encouraging students to experience a virtual course during their high school years to better prepare for blended classes at the post-secondary level.  One of the benefits of online courses is the ability to access your course from anywhere you have internet access thus allowing you to move forward at your own pace.
